Hanulnae Deulggot Maeul (Wildflower Village)

Designated as a green rural life experience village by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in 2005, the village is nestled in a mountain and field where the clear sky, beautiful stream and wildflowers harmonize.
Cheoncheoncheon Stream, called Hanulnae for its clear water, is a rich habitat for the natural monument otter as well as protected fish species including pseudopuntungia nigra moi, coreoleuciscus splendidus and mandarin fish. Azalea and royal azalea flowers are in full blossom in spring along with various mountain greens that people can pick including Chwinamul, bracken fern and the bud of the aralia elater. Visitors can enjoy swimming and fireflies during summer, harvesting sweet potatoes and chestnuts during autumn and enjoying snow sledding on the mountain slope during winter. The village is full of things to enjoy throughout the whole year.
