Juchon Folk Village (Nongae Birth Town Experience)

Visitors can visit the eco village in relation to the birthplace of Nongae and can have a folk aroma experience.
Uiam Ju Nongae was born and raised in Juchon Village until she turned 13. She learned how to write from her father, Ju Dalmun. The village was named Juchon Village, meaning ‘the village of the Ju family’. The village showcases traditional Korean facilities that capture the real life of the old Korean ways of life, including a waterwheel, a millstone worked by horse or ox, a treadmill and summer pavilion as well as a monument house for Nongae. In addition, diverse experience programs that have been developed are in operation and the village is emerging as a new tourist attraction in connection with the Jangsu Goblin Museum.
