Bonghwasan Azalea Field

Bonghwasan Azalea Field

Bonghwasan Azalea Field

The Bongsudae Beacon Fire Station artifacts remain in Bonghwasan at an altitude of 919m, which is historically significant as one of the nation's oldest.
Famous for azalea fields, the mountain is covered with azalea flowers in full blossom on its ridge and rock hills in mid-May. Looking over from the top of the mountain, a panoramic view of the high mountains beautifully unfold: Jangansan Mountain, Namdeogyusan Mountain and Gibaeksan Mountain on its north and the peaks of the Jirisan Mountains on its south.
